Quadrupole Moment of the 11- Intruder Isomer in 196Pb and Its Implications for the 16- Shears Band Head
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 187Re(14N, 5n), E=87 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ(0°)/Iγ(90°) vs magnetic field strength following implantation on Re host. 196Pb deduced high-spin magnetic moment, absolute value of quadrupole moment, shears bandhead quadrupole moment, deformation parameters. Level mixing spectroscopy technique, comparison with Tilted Axis Cranking model.
