Persistence of K isomerism in the N=104 isotones: Observation of a high-seniority isomer in ¹⁷⁹₇₅Re

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁵Ho(¹⁸O, 4n), E=82 MeV; measured delayed Eγ, Iγ(t), γγ-coin. ¹⁷³Yb(¹¹B, 5n), E=73, 76, 79 MeV; measured delayed Eγ, Iγ(t), γγ-coin, E(ce), I(ce), excitation function. ¹⁷⁹Re deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, ICC, isomeric states T_1/2. Chopped beam. Comparisons with neighboring isotones.
