Excited Structure with a Very Extended Shape in ¹⁰⁸Cd

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁶⁴Ni(⁴⁸Ca, 4n), E=207 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, fractional Doppler shifts. ¹⁰⁸Cd deduced high-spin levels, J, π, rotational band quadrupole moment, extreme deformation. Gammasphere array.
