48V: An experimental and theoretical paradigm in the middle of the 1f7/2 shell

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 28Si(24Mg, n3p), E=100 MeV; 24Mg(28Si, n3p), E=115 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (charged particle)γ-coin, DSA. 48V deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, T1/2, B(E2), B(M1). GASP, ISIS arrays. Comparison with large-scale shell model predictions.
