Evidence for triaxial deformation near N = 86: Collective bands in ^{152, 153}Dy and ¹⁵³Ho

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²⁰Sn(³⁷Cl, 4n), E=177 MeV; ¹²⁴Sn(³⁴S, 5n), E=182 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ¹⁵³Ho, ¹⁵³Dy deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, triaxial deformation. Eurogam II array, cranked mean-field calculations.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE ¹⁵²Dy; analyzed data; deduced triaxial superdeformed band. Cranked mean-field analysis.
