Evidence for Chiral Symmetry Breaking in 136Pm and 138Eu

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 116Sn(24Mg, 3np), E=130, 135 MeV; 106Cd(35Cl, n2p), E=150 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γ-ray polarization. 136Pm, 138Eu deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, B(M1)/B(E2), chiral twin bands. Comparison with tilted axis cranking model calculations. Yrast ball, Eurogam I arrays.
