High-Spin Study of ¹²⁸Ce and Systematics of Quasiparticle Pair Alignment

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁰⁰Mo(³²S, 4n), E=155, 160 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ¹²⁸Ce deduced high-spin levels, J, π, band alignments. Comparison with cranked mean field calculations and with neighbouring isotopes. Euroball array.
