NUCLEAR REACTIONS 40Ca(28Si, p2α), E=125 MeV; 28Si(36Ar, pα), E=143 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (charged particle)γ-, (neutron)γ-coin. 59Cu deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, superdeformed band, quadrupole moments. Gammasphere, Microball arrays.
