Decay Out of the Doubly Magic Superdeformed Band in the N = Z Nucleus ⁶⁰Zn

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁴⁰Ca(²⁸Si, 2α), E=125 MeV; ⁴⁰Ca(³²S, 3α), E=134 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (charged particle)γ-coin. ⁶⁰Zn deduced high-spin levels, J, π, superdeformed band quadrupole moment, linking transitions, B(E2). Gammasphere, Microball arrays.
