Structure of the Doubly Odd Nucleus ¹⁸⁰Ta Description of 23 Bands

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁷⁶Yb(¹¹B, 3nα), E=52, 55, 57 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, αγ-coin. ¹⁸⁰Ta deduced high-spin levels, J, π, T_1/2, configurations, rotational bands, B(M1)/B(E2), gK factors. Slow beam pulsing, band mixing analysis, BCS calculations with blocking, astrophysical implications.
