Smooth Termination of Rotational Bands in 62Zn: Evidence for a loss of collectivity

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 40Ca(28Si, 2pα), E=115 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (charged particle)γ-coin, fractional Doppler shift. 62Zn deduced high-spin levels, J, π, transition quadrupole moments, configurations, rotational band termination. Cranked shell-model calculations.
