High-Spin Proton and Neutron Intruder Configurations in 106Cd

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 94Zr(16O, 4n), E=88, 92 MeV; 76Ge(34S, 4n), E=140 MeV; measured γγ(t), Eγ, Iγ, DCO ratios. 106Cd deduced high-spin levels J, π, B(M1)/B(E2) ratios, g(K)-g(R)/Q0. Enriched targets, pulsed-beam, hyperpure Ge, Compton-suppressed detectors. Quasiparticle configurations, quasiparticle alignments, cranked shell model, total-routhian-surface calculations.
