Characteristic α and ⁶He decays of linear-chain structures in ¹⁶C

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE ¹⁶C; calculated angular-momentum-projected energy surface contours in (β, γ) plane for 0+ and 1- states, density distributions, valence neutron orbits, levels, J, π, B(E2), α-decay and ⁶He-decay reduced widths of linear-chain states, α-cluster and neutron spectroscopic factors, in-band B(E2) strengths for low-spin states in the ground, triangular, and linear-chain bands. Antisymmetrized molecular dynamics (AMD) calculations. Comparison with available experimental data.
