Destruction of ¹⁸F via ¹⁸F(p, α)¹⁵O Burning Through the E_c.m. = 665 keV Resonance

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹H(¹⁸F, p), (¹⁸F, α), E=10-14 MeV; measured particle spectra, σ(θ), σ. ¹⁸F(p, α), E(cm)=663 keV; deduced σ. ¹⁹Ne deduced resonance energy, width, proton branching ratio. Astrophysical implications discussed.
