Structure of ¹⁸Ne and the Breakout from the Hot CNO Cycle

NUCLEAR REACTIONS, ICPND ¹²C(¹²C, ⁶He), E=80 MeV; ¹⁶O(³He, n), E=10.9-14.5 MeV; ²⁰Ne(p, t), E=44, 88 MeV; measured σ(θ). ¹⁸Ne deduced levels, Γ, J, π. ¹⁴O(α, p), E(cm) ≤ 2.5 MeV; calculated astrophysical S-factor vs E, astrophysical reaction rate vs temperature.
